Rakans is a Dresden based DJ and founder of the event series Rawmantique.
A visionary artist with Palestinian roots, but raised in Beirut, a city shaped by the ebb and flow of instability that profoundly influences their work. The blend of oriental mosques, churches, and western malls created an avant-garde cultural collage, reflected in their music selection.
Their sound is rich with emotional and dramatic elements, infusing love, sexuality, and tenderness. This unique blend has earned them a residency at the infamous Pornceptual.
